Understanding PMMY
The Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) was launched on 8 April 2015 to bring institutional credit to non-corporate, non-farm micro and small enterprises. Rather than a single product, it offers four categories that correspond to the stage of growth an enterprise has reached.
MUDRA itself is a refinancing institution and does not lend directly to entrepreneurs. Loans are accessed through scheduled commercial banks, regional rural banks, small finance banks, NBFCs and micro finance institutions. Sungrowis helps you choose the right category, prepare the documentation and work with a suitable lender.
Applying under a category that does not match your actual funding need is one of the most common reasons an application stalls. We assess the requirement before anything is submitted.
