Does your business qualify for DPIIT recognition?

The current Startup India framework sets specific requirements around entity type, age, turnover and innovation or scalability.

Eligible Entity

Eligible entities can include Private Limited Companies, registered Partnership Firms, LLPs and eligible cooperative societies, subject to the applicable Startup India criteria.

For normal startup recognition, the entity should generally be within 10 years from incorporation or registration. DeepTech recognition can extend this period to 20 years.

For normal startup recognition, annual turnover should not exceed ₹200 crore in any financial year since incorporation or registration. DeepTech startups have a ₹300 crore threshold.
